Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic and state-of-the-art rehabilitation center that spans over 5,000 square feet, tailored for sports medicine and orthopedic therapy. We maintain an onsite work environment, which fosters direct interaction with patients and other healthcare professionals. Our team currently consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring that you will be part of a cohesive unit focused on providing top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' rehabilitation goals, needs, and challenges through thorough evaluations and consultations.
• Manage a standard caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and individualized therapy sessions.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patients' functional outcomes.
• Develop personalized treatment and care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and cater to the specific needs of each patient.
• Implement and monitor progress on individualized fitness and wellness programs designed to promote recovery and overall well-being.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided, maintaining accurate and thorough records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and rehabilitation staff, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Motivate and educate patients to foster a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Regularly evaluate patient outcomes and adapt treatment plans accordingly to optimize recovery.
• Reduce reliance on medications by promoting non-surgical interventions and holistic approaches to pain management.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and strong capabilities in designing exercise protocols.
• Experience using WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation and communication is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully managing caseloads and delivering high-quality patient care.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
