Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office, providing an onsite work environment that fosters close interaction with colleagues and patients. The work schedule is flexible, allowing therapists to choose their hours Monday through Friday to better balance personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, including assessing strength, flexibility, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic conditions, injuries, or post-surgical recoveries.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced equipment to facilitate pain relief and functional improvements.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to meet changing needs and therapeutic goals.
• Document all treatment interventions, patient responses, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring high standards of care.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing health and well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary care approach, ensuring comprehensive support for patient recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• While prior physical therapy experience is not required, candidates with clinical internships or volunteer experiences in orthopedic settings will be preferred.
