Fountain Hills Fitness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Immokalee, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, thereby enhancing their quality of life and achieving optimal health outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care, allowing for a tailored approach to therapy in the comfort of each patient's residence. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilize skilled therapeutic techniques in a home care setting to facilitate significant improvements in patients' conditions.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare providers, consulting on patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers to enhance understanding and adherence to prescribed home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress in adherence to legal and ethical standards while meeting productivity goals.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service through positive patient interactions, ensuring a welcoming therapy environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population requiring specialized orthopedic care, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will interact with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and health conditions, making adaptability and empathy crucial traits for success. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications.
• Ability to build strong relationships, offering support that motivates patients to exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Fountain Hills Fitness Center offers a competitive salary of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and career.
