Position Overview

Paramount Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Immokalee, Florida. In this role, you will deliver individualized, evidence-based care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, or other debilitating conditions in their home environments. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite within the home care setting, offering flexibility that allows you to tailor your schedule between the hours of Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care setting, establishing effective and personalized treatment plans to address their unique rehabilitation needs.
• Implement treatment strategies utilizing a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy modalities, and state-of-the-art equipment to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation procedures and the use of assistive devices to support self-care and mobility.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, peer collaborations, and the pursuit of additional training to enhance clinical skills.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients of varying ages who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. By providing personalized care in their homes, you enable patients to reclaim their independence while addressing both physical impairments and psychosocial barriers to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are essential.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care and scheduling is preferred.
• Prior experience in home health care is a plus, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies is an advantage.
