Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing history, assessments, and clinical knowledge to inform your treatment plan.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and developed treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting for a personalized care journey.
• Implement treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation findings, adapting to the unique needs of each patient within an evolving healthcare landscape.
• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and recognize when patients require modifications to their plans or additional consultations.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge plans, to ensure a clear and accurate patient care history.
• Manage your time effectively to meet productivity targets, while also maintaining an accurate schedule and attending required meetings punctually.
• Participate in hospital and community engagements aimed at promoting our services and enriching patient access to care.
• Take an active role in achieving departmental goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous education opportunities to enhance skills and serve as a clinical instructor for aspiring physical therapy students.
• Contribute to efforts that facilitate patient access to care, actively participating in initiatives that remove barriers and improve our service continuum.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, primarily focusing on individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, postoperative recovery, and general musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is essential.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience
