Work Environment

This position is an onsite role situated within a collaborative home care environment where patient interaction is at the forefront. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and create individualized treatment plans to achieve specific rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a patient load, typically seeing one patient per hour, to ensure high-quality and focused care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and function.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, setting realistic expectations for recovery and improvement.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatments, responses, and any modifications to care plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and smooth transitions during the rehabilitation process.
• Encourage patients to engage in healthy lifestyle choices by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Implement cost-effective and evidence-based interventions that reduce reliance on medications and facilitate quicker recovery.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality in all clinical activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily works with patients who possess private medical insurance and require orthopedic care. You will encounter a broad demographic, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients working to regain their mobility after surgery or chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient care.
• No instances of disciplinary actions or board actions on the professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development and execution of individualized exercise programs is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in a similar orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in working effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Experience in using advanced rehabilitation techniques and modalities to enhance patient outcomes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
