Business Developer

Business Developer RentItems is a rental technology company that provides a peer‑to‑peer marketplace to help individuals and businesses generate income and save money by renting items instead of buying. Our goal is to put idle items from garages, storage units, retail stores, and warehouses to better use. Summary We are looking for an experienced, self‑driven Business Developer to help us grow. In this role you will identify business opportunities, build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborate with executives on strategy, and maximize business reach and potential. This is a commission‑only position with stock options and a full‑time commitment, though part‑time arrangements may be accommodated. Responsibilities Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs Manage our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities (e.g., Nextdoor, Liquidation.com, EstateSales.NET) Become a subject‑matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and stay up‑to‑date on industry news Prepare sales contracts and maintain records of sales, revenue and invoices Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales and negotiation Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and industry‑specific analysis software Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject‑matter expert on the job Innovation and problem‑solving skills Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting and budgeting #J-18808-Ljbffr Rent Items, Inc.
