Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to objectively determine the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences after thorough consultations.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage mood disorders and foster positive change.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them on their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment, documenting changes, analyzing outcomes, and making necessary adjustments to enhance efficacy.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide cohesive and comprehensive care, ensuring an integrated treatment approach.

• Maintain awareness of the latest clinical research related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic interventions and improve patient care practices.

• Document all client encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT, is critical for this position.
