AR - Billing Specialist

ATLANTA, Norcross, GA, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1589 Salary Range: $25.00 To $33.00 Annually Job purpose The AR/Billing Specialist is responsible for invoicing, collections, and cash application, with a strong focus on construction billing practices including AIA documentation and progress billing. Essential responsibilities and accountabilities: Prepare and submit invoices (progress, T&M, milestone billing) Complete and manage AIA billing (G702/G703) Track retainage and contract billing requirements Ensure all supporting documentation is included with invoices Monitor AR aging and follow up on past‑due accounts Apply cash receipts and reconcile AR balances Work with project managers to resolve billing issues Maintain accurate billing records in the system Assist with lien waivers and compliance documentation Adhere to all company safety requirements. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Regular and prompt attendance and punctuality. Working long hours may be required to meet business needs and is considered an essential function of this position. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have expert abilities in Excel and PowerBI Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities Excellent stakeholder management and communication Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects in a hectic environment while meeting deadlines Stress resilient Education and Experience Requirements: Required: 3–5+ years of AR or Billing experience AIA Billing experience Construction billing and collections experience Preferred: Business Central ERP experience Low‑voltage / contracting industry experience Company Conformance Statement Deliver high‑quality work within assigned deadlines, whether under direct supervision or independently.
