OpenShift - Pega Admin

Insight Global is looking for an OpenShift-Pega Administrator with 4-5 years of Pega administration and 3+ years of OpenShift experience to support a large financial client. This is an infrastructure-focused role (not development) supporting 6 Pega applications hosted on OpenShift in an in-house AWS cloud. Candidate must be comfortable managing environments, troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, and providing weekend/off-hours support as needed. Hybrid role (3 days onsite, potential to increase) in Charlotte, Jacksonville, or Arizona. Target rate around $85/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and support Pega applications hosted on OpenShift
• Manage and maintain the infrastructure layer, not application development
• Support and maintain 6 Pega applications
• Troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and manage tickets related to Pega and OpenShift
• Perform configuration changes and environment maintenance within Pega
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability
• Propose infrastructure and operational improvements to enhance reliability
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors as needed
Provide weekend and off-hours support when required

Required Skills & Experience
• 4-5 years of Pega Administration experience
• 3+ years of OpenShift experience
• Strong understanding of OpenShift as infrastructure
• Experience managing enterprise-scale Pega environments
• Ability to work in a hybrid onsite model
• Flexibility to support weekend work and critical support windows
• Strong problem-solving and solution-proposing mindset


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with AWS (in-house hosted cloud environments)
• Monitoring tools such as:
• Splunk
• Dynatrace
Financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments
