Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy in areas including communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing mechanics.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members—to establish cohesive treatment strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to empower continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions occasionally, ensuring a seamless transition of care throughout the patient's journey.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of employment.
