Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking an Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer to join their innovative team. As an Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer

Location:  Mossville, Illinois

What's the Job?

• Participate in and lead the design and development of electrification site solutions, supporting the full process from requirements analysis to engineering implementation
• Translate customer and site requirements into system- and component-level technical specifications, interface definitions, and design solutions
• Support solution integration, prototype validation, testing, and performance analysis, and participate in issue troubleshooting and improvement activities
• Collaborate with system, electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to advance design reviews and technical decisions
• Support technical selection, supplier evaluation, and solution validation for key components and subsystems

What's Needed?

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related majors)
• Product / solution design and development capability: able to complete solution design, validation, and problem solving in accordance with engineering processes
• Technical analysis and problem-solving capability: strong structured analysis and systems thinking skills
• Cross-team collaboration and communication skills: able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clearly articulate technical solutions
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, design review, and test validation processes
