Onsite Job: Product Repair/Mod Tech A

Work Location: Heath, OH

Training Period: 1st Shift, then move to 2nd or 3rd Shift

Shift: Second Shift

Start Time: 3:00 PM

End Time: 11:00 PM

Security Clearance: Not required to start; must be able to obtain clearance post-start.


Job Description


Assists with disassembly of system components to support the correction of failures or implementation of changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle, such as jacking, towing, and system operations. Works under supervision.


Required Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education, such as a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start.
• Ability to work off-shifts (2nd or 3rd shift).
• One or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units.
• One or more years of experience soldering and assembling equipment components.
• One or more years of experience using handheld tools and/or power tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• One or more years of experience working under a microscope.
