Operations Analyst

Responsibilities Work on special projects and operational service issues to meet business needs. Use independent judgment to develop alternative views and future business needs, assisting management in making business changes to stay ahead of the competition. Develop, execute, monitor, and audit metric/reporting audit processes to ensure data integrity across the provider network and adhere to provider service level agreements. Apply analysis skills in the development of business process models, procedures, and systems. Research and analyze business results to identify trends and variances; make recommendations to improve company performance and resolve issues. Act as subject matter expert to recommend and document business requirements for process improvements and system enhancements. Conduct effective interviews/research to determine and document stakeholders, business needs, and requirements. Provide post‑implementation support, such as problem resolution, adjustments to new procedures, and change management. Review technical design deliverables to ensure business objectives are reached. Manage the identification of training and development materials, communications of changes, and manuals to management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or in lieu of a degree, four years of functional experience. Demonstrated experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations, and preparing business cases including cost‑benefit analysis. Demonstrated ability to conduct various types of financial analysis or related experience. Experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams, and workflow models. Ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present approaches and solutions. Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes and changes. Thorough understanding of business implications, project interdependencies, and system interfaces. Ability to multi‑task and work in a team environment. Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non‑technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties. Preferred Skills Experience with logistics operations, including freight coordination and shipment lifecycle management. Familiarity with freight routing processes, including scheduling, tracking, and optimizing delivery routes. Ability to manage daily communication with external dispatchers, carriers, and transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution. Exposure to transportation documentation, freight billing, and rate validation. Experience coordinating between warehouse, shipping, and third‑party logistics (3PL) teams. Strong understanding of day‑to‑day operational workflows within distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments. Compensation Salary Ranges: $58,656.00 - $80,253.00 Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. As part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
