Occupational Therapist School Setting in Ventura, CA

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of preschoolers by providing essential Occupational Therapy support to students ages 3-5. This rewarding contract opportunity offers full-time hours from now until June 17, 2026, across multiple school sites near beautiful Ventura, CA. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team, including another SLP onsite, to support up to 50 children as they reach developmental milestones in a dynamic educational setting.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (OT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT roles preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, especially with early learners and educators
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to various school environments
• Comfortable working full-time hours and traveling between multiple school sites
• Positive, student-focused attitude and passion for early childhood development

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct occupational therapy services to preschool students ages 3-5
• Assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
• Working alongside SLPs and educational staff to support student growth
• Monitoring and documenting student progress while communicating with families and staff
• Participating in IEP meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving
• Supporting the school community through multi-site engagement
