Emergency Room RN Ratios: 1:4 Years of experience REQ: Minimum of 2 Years ER experience First-timers accepted: Yes Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit. Weekend REQ: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S.Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. CPI and MAB preferred. Skills REQ: Work Settings: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Central line care/management. MEDICATIONS: Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors. Respiratory: CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients. Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation PrecautionsTriage. Skills Preferred: Work Settings: STEMI Certified Facility, Stroke Certified Facility. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Arterial line management. Respiratory: Interpretation of ABGs. Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Compliance Deadline: Docs will be due 2 Fridays before the start date. There are also 10-15 hours of modules to be done as part of compliance, which are due Monday 1 week prior to start. Labs: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules All other modules are completed during orientation, modules hours are factored in orientation hours and not billed separately Please complete your EPIC training module first! RNs will have the choice to complete the EPIC test out option OR the EPIC module.
