Locum Tenens Hematology Oncology Physician

Shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Start Date: September 14, 2026 End Date: Ongoing (Est. 85 shifts)

Position Details: Patient Population: Adult (100% Adult Outpatient, patients per day)
Setting: Oncology and Hematology outpatient clinic (Satellite location at 1295 Barry Dr. Ste B, Lapeer, MI 48446; covering a recruitment gap)
Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic coverage, management of hematology and oncology care, participation in tumor board, and clinic call.
Required Procedures: Hematology and Oncology outpatient care, participation in tumor board. Minimum 2 years of experience required.
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, Social Worker, Dietitian, Nurse Navigator, and NP assistance.
Days Per Month: 12 to 14 days (Mon/Wed/Fri schedule)
On-Call/Weekends: Clinic call only (optional night call and optional weekend 24hr call available)

Requirements:
Provider must understand they will physically be working in Lapeer REQUIRED
Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology (will review Truly BE providers) REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS certifications REQUIRED
Active Michigan license (will not accept IMLC) REQUIRED
Please provide availability at time of name clear REQUIRED
Copy of the NPDB, self-query required at presentation (pulled within 30 days) REQUIRED
