Entry-Level Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an organized, professional, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Legal Assistant for a well-established law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior law firm experience who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and busy legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals.

Assist with overflow work, including document preparation, filing, and case organization.

Coordinate conference room scheduling and maintain office calendars.

Assist with scheduling, deadline tracking, and other time-sensitive administrative tasks.

Organize and maintain legal files and records, both electronic and physical.

Ensure all confidential client and firm information is handled with discretion.

Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff to support the daily operations of the office.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm or legal office preferred.

Strong typing skills with excellent speed and accuracy.

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.

Experience supporting attorneys in a busy legal environment is a plus.
