CPC is a large, urban facility with 337 inpatient beds, 146 outpatient residential beds, an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, and a wide array of other outpatient programs. CPC’s comprehensive service delivery focuses on individualized and person-centered care. Minimum Qualifications : Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have:Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).ORCandidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
