Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience using Claude AI / Generative AI technologies to support data engineering, data processing, automation, and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong data engineering fundamentals and experience working with Python, PySpark, SQL, ETL, and cloud/AI-assisted development , with the ability to leverage Claude AI effectively in data engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
Develop ETL and data integration processes.
Use Python and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Leverage Claude AI to assist with code development, data transformation, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation.
Evaluate and implement AI-assisted approaches for data engineering tasks.
Build and optimize data processing workflows.
Perform data quality checks and validation.
Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Automate repetitive data engineering and development activities using AI tools.
Document data pipelines, processes, and technical solutions.
Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Data Engineering .
Hands-on experience with Python .
Strong experience with PySpark .
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with ETL and data pipelines .
Experience with data transformation and data integration.
Hands-on experience using Claude AI / Generative AI for software or data engineering tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud data platforms.
Experience with data warehousing.
Experience with AI-assisted coding and development.
Experience with legacy data modernization.
Knowledge of machine learning or Generative AI concepts.
