Program Administrator

DNA Learning Center NYC (DNALC) is currently seeking a full-time Program Administrator to work in a busy environment at its Brooklyn campus. The DNALC is the world’s first science center devoted entirely to genetics education, and is a destination for school field trips, summer camps and programs for the general public. Position Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Customer service duties, including answering phone calls and emails, and meeting and greeting visitors Maintaining and purchasing office supplies Assisting with mailings, marketing, proofreading, and editing Booking school reservations, invoicing, and visitation reports Answering summer camp reservation questions, approving camp applications, tracking camp attendance, and preparing camp documents (sign-in sheets, name tags, certificates, etc) Maintenance of financial records for income, payments, and budgets Data collection and entry Position Requirements The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, data tracking, and reporting, be proficient in Word, and Outlook, have a minimum of three years of customer service or office experience, and must feel comfortable working in a lively environment with lots of social interaction. Strong organizational, time management, prioritization and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and multi-task are required.
