Location: Ardmore, PA Pay Rate: $16.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | Approximately 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (until production is complete) Availability: Additional hours may be available during the holiday season Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products according to recipes and production schedules.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately.
- Assist with dough preparation, baking, decorating, and finishing tasks as needed.
- Follow established recipes and quality standards to ensure consistent products.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products.
- Assist with preparing increased production needs during peak seasons and holidays.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other bakery team members to complete daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous baking, pastry, food production, or kitchen experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be comfortable working MondayFriday with occasional additional hours during busy seasons.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and work with kitchen equipment.
- Comfortable working in a warm bakery production environment.
