Work Schedule: Variable

This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan – must be 18 years of age to participate.

We are seeking dependable Temporary Custodian/General Laborers to assist with cleaning, facility maintenance, and various labor-related tasks. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, moving materials, setting up and breaking down work areas, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Candidates should be reliable, able to follow instructions, and capable of performing physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a temporary position ideal for individuals who are hardworking, flexible, and team-oriented.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing work areas.
• Collect and remove trash, debris, and recyclable materials from designated areas.
• Assist with facility setup, breakdown, and movement of furniture, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments both indoors and outdoors.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and supervisor instructions.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns to management.
• Support special projects and general labor tasks as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assignments on schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of custodial/ janitorial experience, preferred
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long hours, bend, squat, and lift 50+ pounds, required
• Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills to assist guests and coordinate with other operations teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work variable schedule or different assignment site, as needed

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED, Preferred

Experience:

• 6 months- 1+ year of Previous Experience, Preferred
