Requirements Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license without record of suspension or revocation in any state. No felony convictions and/or serious misdemeanor, disqualifying criminal histories. Ability to obtain certification for CPR/First Aid. Ability to meet Department’s physical standards. Must complete IC 100, IC 200 and IC 700 within the first year of employment. Must be able to be on call during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications/Education Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, corrections, management, or related field and (6) years of related work experience. Work experience must include (3) years of supervisory in this field. Any combination of education, training and work experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Including (3) years of supervisory in this field. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and six years of progressively responsible work in law enforcement or police administration, including three years in a supervisory or lead capacity; two years of college level coursework in law enforcement, police administration or a related field is desirable. Six (6) years of experience in criminal justice work. An equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years or older at the time of employment.
