Sales Manager

Location: Grand Haven, MI

About the Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, technically driven leader to accelerate growth across our Engineering Services and Global Sourcing businesses. As the Sales Manager, you will identify new opportunities, develop strategic client relationships, and position our engineering and sourcing teams as trusted partners to leading organizations. This individual contributor role will own full cycle from prospecting & qualification through proposal, negotiation, closing and account expansion

Responsibilities

· Drive new business development and achieve revenue growth targets.

· Build and manage a strategic sales pipeline across engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing markets.

· Expand client relationships through cross-selling and long-term account growth strategies.

· Build relationships with at all levels across the client’s organizations

· Drive growth across Engineering and Global Sourcing solutions.

· Expand existing accounts through additional services and opportunities

· Collaborate with VSG engineering and sourcing teams in Asia to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

· Negotiate contracts, strategic partnerships, and long-term service agreements.

· Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasts, and account-growth plans

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.

· 8 - 10 years of experience in engineering services, manufacturing, sourcing, or technical consulting.

· Proven success in business development, technical sales, or solutions engineering.

· Experience closing complex B2B deals valued at $500K+.

· Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and offshore delivery models.

· Strong pipeline development and strategic account expansion.

· Increased adoption of engineering and sourcing solutions.

· High client retention and measurable business impact.
