This position focuses on execution in-market, including beverage sampling, merchandising, shelf stocking, and events, while working closely with Sales Activators to support sales goals and brand visibility. The Beverage Activation Specialist position is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being in the field, working at events, and bringing brands to life at retail.ResponsibilitiesTeam leadership and developmentExecute beverage samplings at off-premise retail locationsSupport merchandising and shelf stocking to improve visibility and availabilityExecute beverage sampling and brand activations at events, festivals, and promotional activationsSet up and break down sampling displays and POS materialsEngage consumers and represent the brand in a professional, approachable wayComplete post-event recaps and feedbackTravel regularly within your assigned region to support field needsQualificationsField marketing, brand ambassador, retail, or merchandising experience preferredBeverage, cannabis, or CPG experience is a plus, but not requiredComfortable and competent working independently in the fieldReliable, organized, and professional in retail environmentsMust be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's licenseWillingness to travel as needed to support business and team goalsRegular evenings and weekends are expected (event-heavy role)Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is:Frequently required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces; standing and being on feet for extended periods.Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices.Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools): push/pull objects up to 40 lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 40 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl).Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position.Occasionally required to remain in a seated position.Work ScheduleUp to 30 hours weekly with flexible hours (hours will vary based on market activity) and travel as needed. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
