About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and placing new and renewal business, with a primary focus on general marketing and complex property or casualty as needed. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with executive-level employees at various carriers and wholesalers, as well as participating in client-facing meetings. The VP will also be involved in the training and development of marketing department employees. Applicants must be well-versed in sales and marketing training, have excellent communication skills, and possess a valid NYS P&C license. A background in property, general liability, automobile, worker’s compensation, and umbrella coverages is essential, with a working knowledge of shared and layered placements and the London/Bermuda marketplace being a desired value add. The ideal candidate for the Vice President position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with an active CRM system is a plus. The role demands a professional who is adept at learning various industry applications and is prepared to assist with client-facing meetings.
