About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: NIHSS certification Stroke experience ACLS certification Description: This position offers guaranteed hours. You will be working in a unit with 16 beds and a patient ratio of 4:1. The unit has staffing support, including techs. Required equipment includes Welch Allyn VS machines, Hoyer lifts, Sarah Steady lifts, telemetry, bladder scanners, and Dopplers. Documentation is done using Meditech. You must be able to work 3 shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts. Floating may occur to areas where you have demonstrated competency. Experience in telemetry, cardiac drips, and neurology is necessary. Advanced skills in cardiac drips and basic dysthymia are needed. No specific procedures are performed in this unit.
