Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Management of Dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Procedures, IV Insulin Protocols, Central Line Management Description: Provide patient care within the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions. Manage and interpret telemetry readings effectively. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Perform routine nursing care procedures, including IV management and wound care. Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning. Participate in rapid response situations as required. Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions. Adhere to all hospital protocols and standards of care. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
