The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of cardiac telemetry. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing emergencies are essential. The nurse will perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with daily living activities. Experience with IV management and care of central and peripheral lines is required. Knowledge of isolation precautions and wound care practices is beneficial. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Weekend shifts will be necessary as per scheduling. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Floating between departments may occur as needed based on patient care requirements. This role requires a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
