Responsibilities
- Conduct PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, addressing orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Implement PT interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility activities, and manual therapy; utilize modalities as appropriate.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team (OT, speech therapy, nursing, social work) to coordinate care, discharge planning, patient education, and caregiver training.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the patient management system; ensure safety, quality, and compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Provide services across diverse settings, including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, local school visits, and home care visits, as warranted by patient needs.
- Participate in specialized therapy programs as available and appropriate, and contribute to continuous improvement of department workflows.

Requirements
- Current Montana Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; experience in inpatient, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
- Ability to work daytime hours and travel to patient locations; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to educate patients, families, and team members
- Comfortable working in a hospital-based rehab department with varied patient populations
