About the Opportunity

EXL is seeking a senior, relationship-led Industry Advisor with deep expertise across the Live Entertainment and Events ecosystem, including concert promoters, event organizers, ticketing platforms, venue operators, arenas, stadiums, and entertainment companies. 

\n

The advisor will support EXL’s GTM efforts by opening executive relationships, identifying qualified business opportunities, providing market intelligence and helping position EXL’s Data, AI, Analytics, Digital Operations and Technology capabilities for high-value transformation initiatives.

Role Responsibilities  

\n

Business Development Support 

\n

\n
• Leverage existing executive relationships to introduce EXL to prospective clients and decision-makers. 
\n
• Facilitate C-level and VP-level conversations with business, technology, data, marketing, revenue, and operations leaders. 
\n
• Support account planning, whitespace identification, and market-entry strategies across priority Live Entertainment accounts. 
\n
• Identify transformation initiatives where EXL can create measurable business value. 
\n
• Participate in select customer meetings, executive briefings, and opportunity-shaping discussions. 
\n

Industry Advisory 

\n

Provide insights on: 

\n

\n
• Live event operations and operating model transformation 
\n
• Ticketing strategy, audience analytics, and demand forecasting 
\n
• Fan engagement, loyalty, and customer experience transformation 
\n
• Sponsorship measurement and revenue optimization 
\n
• Venue operations, workforce planning, and service optimization 
\n
• AI, GenAI, data modernization, and analytics adoption in entertainment organizations

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience 

\n

\n
• 15+ years of experience in Live Entertainment, concert promotion, events, venue operations, ticketing, entertainment media, or adjacent sectors. 
\n
• Strong experience working with or within organizations such as Live Nation, AEG, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, StubHub, major venues, arenas, stadium operators, or event promoters. 
\n
• Proven ability to engage senior executives and translate industry priorities into actionable business opportunities. 
\n

Engagement Structure  

\n

\n
• Engagement duration is 3 months with potential to extend. 
\n
• Fixed hourly rate of $120 for a minimum commitment of 100-140 hours; expected to be available for approximately 10 hours every week. 
\n
• MSA – fixed amount commission 
\n
• SOW – percentage of SOW value based commission 
\n
• Required to work with the Sales Team to ensure end-to-end sales cycle (until SOW signing)
