2D Laser Machine Operator - (AURB)

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: 2D LASER MACHINE OPERATOR IN AURORA, IL Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a 2D Laser Machine Operator to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for operating a CNC 2D laser cutting machine and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending, punching, or sawing metal products as instructed by supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years’ experience in 2D laser cutting operation, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $20/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Located in Aurora, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment Unload machine, sort, count, organize and package cut parts Perform machine setups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Inspect all manufactured parts following work-in-process inspection methods and ensure they meet engineering specifications Safely remove a jam from equipment without risk or injury or damage to the equipment Report all machine malfunctions to Management May perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) At least 2 years’ experience in 2D laser cutting operation Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents Solid background working with sheet metal Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.
