Job Description
The Litigation Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing various aspects of litigation cases. Reporting directly to an attorney, this professional handles legal research, prepares documents, and assists with trial and discovery processes to ensure smooth case progression. Proficiency in case management software and strong organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Location: Midvale, UT 84047 USA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (in office)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Manage case files using specialized case management software
- Provide trial support through organization and coordination
- Assist with discovery processes and documentation
- Facilitate client communication and information flow
- Maintain organized and comprehensive file systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have verifiable paralegal experience
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Experience with legal research and document management
- Proficiency in case management software
- Knowledge of trial preparation and deposition assistance
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
