Growing together.Join Optum's expanding Payer sales team as a Sr. Solution Sales Executive - Remote, responding to increased demand for comprehensive Risk Adjustment & Quality solutions to drive accuracy and compliance. You will work with to expand business within your assigned payer accounts, leveraging consultative selling skills and building lasting relationships across, large national, regional and mid-market health plans.This position is responsible for managing and selling the full suite of risk adjustment and quality solutions to strategic, high-value accounts. While candidates may reside anywhere in the United States, preference is given to those who can travel (up to 50%)You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Identify, promote, and sell the full suite of Risk Adjustment and Quality solutions to payersBuild and execute strategic account plans for top payersDevelop deep product knowledge and obtain product certifications to effectively communicate Optum's value propositionCollaborate across internal teams and coordinate outreach to ensure alignment with broader Optum initiativesManage Salesforce hygiene, pipeline development, and account plan updatesAchieve and exceed multi-million-dollar sales quotasResearch accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts plans to stimulate opportunityMeet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline generating targets to ensure territory revenue objectives are metRepresent Optum at industry conferences and build relationships with key contacts. Leverage AI tools as part of sales responsibilitiesFocus on expanding business within established accounts rather than cold callingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:8+ years of selling to payer clients, with a proven track record of achieving multi-million-dollar sales quotas year over yearExperience selling software solutionsSaaS-Ability from experience to demo and sell complex tech enabled solutionsProficiency with Microsoft Suite and SalesforceProven solid sales presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to be nimble, motivated, and eager to learnDemonstrated commitment to building long-term client relationships and tailoring company offerings to specific client needs through compelling written and financial proposalsWillingness to travel 50% or more, preferably based in Central/East regionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in payer salesMedicare regulatory environment experienceFamiliarity with leveraging AI tools in sales processesProven relentless at prospectingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $90,000 - $195,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
