Work Environment\n

This role operates within an outpatient office setting but allows for a remote work setup, offering flexibility and efficiency in meeting both client and counselor needs. You will engage with a diverse team of skilled professionals, and your collaboration will be essential to delivering the highest standard of care. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, designed to allow a balanced work life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to establish the therapeutic relationship and gather relevant client history.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical best practices, targeting individual concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients in both individual and group settings, tailoring approaches to meet varied emotional challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance the quality of care and foster a supportive environment for client recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population representing various backgrounds and presenting a range of emotional and psychological challenges. This includes individuals dealing with significant life transitions, trauma recovery, stress management, and mental health disorders. Your focus will be on empowering clients to navigate their unique journeys towards mental wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of California, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals facing emotional difficulties.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly and effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care will be highly valued. Additional training or certifications in specialized areas can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
