Revenue Auditor (RA3)

The Revenue Auditor (RA3) conducts audits and investigations of fuel tax licensees, motor carriers, and refund account holders for Washington's Prorate and Fuel Tax Services division. Working independently on complex audits, you will analyze customer records, identify discrepancies, prepare detailed reports, and provide education to ensure compliance with state regulations. This hybrid position requires travel throughout the state and occasional overnight stays. Key qualifications: Four years of professional auditing or accounting experience (or equivalent education substitution) Three years of experience performing intermediate to complex auditing, accounting, and data analysis Three years of experience using computer programs for documents, emails, spreadsheets, and presentations One year of experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities Ability to understand and promote agency values of respect, trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
