Friday - Sunday 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 19 weeks

Requirements
- Current registration in New York State (NYS)
- Injection therapy certification (must be on license at time of submission)
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position)
- Two (2) years of experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Telemetry experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to initiating scans, adhering to patient safety policies.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and address any concerns to ensure comfort.
- Insert IVs as needed and position patients safely, using proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components within the EMR system, ensuring image identification and correct submission to the PACS system upon exam completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be willing to complete injection certification during the orientation process.
- Knowledge of specific imaging equipment preferred.
