Accounting Manager (Grants & Compliance) Madison County Government Jackson Regional Airport (MKL) Position Summary The Accounting Manager (Grants & Compliance) serves as a key member of the airport’s finance team, supporting daily accounting operations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local funding requirements. This position provides critical support for grant tracking, financial reporting, and audit preparation as the airport manages multiple capital projects and funding sources. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2–4 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software Experience with governmental accounting preferred Experience working with grants or federally funded projects preferred Core Competencies High level of integrity and accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear and professional communication Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and self-start Madison County, Tennessee is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
