Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular, supportive individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering therapeutic rapport and addressing the specific needs of clients.

• Observe and document patient interactions accurately to ensure adherence to treatment plans, emphasizing timely completion of progress notes by the end of each shift.

• Orient patients and their families to therapeutic processes, creating a welcoming and informative experience.

• Assist clients with personal needs and empower them in their recovery journey while also advocating for necessary services when appropriate.

• Maintain a keen awareness of patient behavior and provide timely reports on any significant changes or challenges to the treatment team.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostics and treatment planning, to tailor therapeutic approaches to diverse client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a broad range of patient demographics, including adults, children, couples, and families facing emotional, relational, and psychological challenges. Your role is pivotal in providing culturally competent care, ensuring each client feels acknowledged, supported, and understood, regardless of their background. Through your expertise, clients will receive comprehensive mental health services designed to cultivate resilience and foster positive relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD within the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated experience in providing marriage and family therapy to a diverse range of clients.

• Strong knowledge of diagnosis and treatment planning utilizing the DSM-5 framework.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from all walks of life.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to adjust to varied work schedules and evolving client needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation processes.

• Attractive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
