Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being an essential part of our community health team. Although you will primarily work from home, you will regularly engage with interdisciplinary teams in virtual meetings, contributing to discussions and planning around patient care. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using standardized screening tools and personalized interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and preferences, enhancing their engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat mood disorders.

• Educate clients and families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them with the knowledge needed for active participation in their recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress and make informed adjustments to treatment plans based on response and feedback, ensuring optimal levels of care.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment outlines in compliance with ethical practices and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including conditions such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Your role will involve providing therapeutic support and guidance to a diverse clientele, ensuring that all individuals feel valued and heard in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
