Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify patients' psychological and emotional needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver individual, couple, and family counseling sessions, ensuring a personalized treatment experience.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups aimed at educating patients on mental health topics, fostering peer support, and building a sense of community among participants.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment strategies for patients, ensuring all aspects of their care are addressed and coordinated.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, offering support and guidance during mental health emergencies to safeguard patient wellbeing.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation of patient interactions in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case reviews, clinical consultations, and team meetings to foster continuous learning and professional growth.

• Remain current with emerging research and best practices in mental health therapy, applying new findings to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults, who are facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. By utilizing person-centered approaches, counselors will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet each patient’s unique cultural and personal circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in California.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of psychological theories, mental health disorders, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust with a diverse patient base.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering group and individual therapy within a therapeutic context.

• Ability to uphold professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries in all patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly valued.

• Prior history of providing crisis intervention services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
