Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and nature of clients' mood disorder symptoms to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, making data-informed adjustments to therapeutic approaches as needed based on client feedback and outcomes.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and emerging practices in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative work culture and share best practices.

• Actively advocate for client needs and the de-stigmatization of mental health challenges within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mood disorders. This includes but is not limited to adults struggling with depression, individuals with bipolar disorder, and those facing anxiety-related challenges. Your role will not only involve direct clinical care but also initiatives to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, thereby enhancing community awareness and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in areas such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.
\n
• Proven proficiency in delivering evidence-based modalities, notably CBT and DBT, as well as a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.

• Excellent communication abilities that enable you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly within community health clinics, will be advantageous.

• Demonstrated success in developing effective treatment plans and achieving positive client outcomes in managing mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
