Principal Associate, Project Manager

Lead critical and strategic business projects with direct impact on the company's bottom line Drive projects according to defined priorities while managing scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets Identify, mitigate, and escalation project risks and issues Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans through feasibility, design, planning, and implementation Apply problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver intended outcomes Maintain key project documentation Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership Build relationships with key stakeholders and ensure delivery commitments Identify opportunities to improve and streamline business processes Establish structure for managing project work Communicate with, manage, inform, and influence stakeholders across all levels Adapt to changing demands and demonstrate organizational agility Collaborate with stakeholders and project partners to drive project delivery Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or military experience At least 5 years of Project Management experience Master’s Degree preferred At least 7 years of Project Management experience preferred PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred Strong project management track record Ability to structure and manage project work Outstanding communication and partnership skills Ability to interact with, communicate with, manage, inform, and influence stakeholders across all levels Organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Strong consulting and collaboration skillsli> Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading strategic business projects with a focus on project management, stakeholder communication, and process improvement.
