Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology according to established protocols.
• Review test outcomes for consistency, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments undergo regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assure the proper collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of laboratory procedures, assist in training new staff or interns, and actively contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Keep a safe and organized work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification for the duration of your employment.
