Pay rate range: $28-30 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support the successful coordination and execution of clinical research studies in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you will work closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research staff, and study participants to ensure clinical trials are conducted safely, ethically, and in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day clinical trial activities while ensuring participant safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity. The CRC assists with participant screening, informed consent, study visits, data collection, regulatory documentation, and communication with participants throughout the research process.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute clinical research studies under the direction of the Principal Investigator and senior research staff.
• Screen potential study participants by collecting medical history and other required information.
• Assist with the informed consent process and participant enrollment in accordance with study protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Schedule and coordinate study visits, procedures, and participant follow-up.
• Collect, document, and maintain accurate source documentation and study data in compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
• Educate study participants, answer questions, and promote adherence to study requirements.
• Monitor study progress and report adverse events, protocol deviations, and other study-related issues to the research team.
• Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, FDA regulations, and site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Draw, process, package, and ship laboratory specimens in accordance with applicable regulations (if qualified).
• Maintain organized study files through scanning, uploading, filing, and document management.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support efficient study operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical terminology knowledge and patient care experience.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred

• Associate degree or higher in a health-related field.
• Previous clinical research experience.
• Experience with participant screening and the informed consent process.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, ALCOA principles, FDA regulations, and IATA guidelines.
• Experience using electronic data capture (EDC) systems, clinical trial management software (CTMS), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Certifications

• Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC) or willingness to obtain certification.
