Work Environment\n

The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location while ensuring that you can effectively engage with clients from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and efficient, providing you with the tools necessary to conduct virtual therapy sessions and manage documentation securely. Scheduled working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' needs and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops, creating opportunities for patients to learn and share experiences.

• Collaborate actively with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care that addresses the complexities of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, showcasing the ability to remain calm and use effective techniques.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and how to leverage community resources.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Attend case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment plans and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client base facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse challenges. Our patient-centered approach is designed to meet individuals at their point of need, providing empathic and culturally competent care tailored to each person's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and ethical considerations in practice.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and formulating treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
