Role: School Custodial Manager in Training

Hours: Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shift on business needs

Location: Must be able to travel between the 5 boroughs

Pay Rate

USD $50000.00 - USD $65000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform job assignments of day porter custodian and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
• Acquire knowledge of policies procedures and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
• Develop skills in payroll submission staffing patterns coaching discipline purchasing and budgeting.
• Assist in staff training quality control and in-servicing.
• Utilize protective gear appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare or school setting with supervisory experience desired.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state local and/or customers.
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Must maintain a valid drivers license.
