About the Role Are you searching for a position where you can make an impact on your community? Does the thought of providing care, comfort, and safety for animals warm your heart? Then our Full-Time Veterinary Technician position might be the perfect role for you! As a Veterinary Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a compassionate team to help heal injured pets, play a vital role in their adoption, and perform lifesaving work. Experience for this position isn’t required. If you have a passion for learning and science, and have a strong customer service background, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Work with a compassionate team to help heal injured pets. Assist with surgeries and other emergency procedures. Collect and process biological specimens for testing. Fill medications and manage medical supplies. Participate in adoption events and outreach programs. Partner with the Pet Help Center to assist owners and extend lifesaving care throughout Jacksonville. Qualifications Passion for learning and science. Strong customer service background. Team player who thrives in collaboration. No prior experience required. Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) and Part-Time (28 Hours/Week). Weekends required.
