Staffing Coordinator Facility: Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Location: Charlotte County, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $26 per hour Keep Our Care Team Running Smoothly Our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Staffing Coordinator to join our team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our nursing units are appropriately staffed while supporting employees, leadership, and resident care. What You'll Do Create, maintain, and update nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate daily coverage. Staff nursing units according to census and established staffing guidelines while minimizing overtime. Maintain current nursing employee contact information. Monitor attendance and tardiness and communicate concerns to the Director of Nursing. Collaborate with Human Resources and the Director of Nursing regarding modified duty assignments. Assist employees with scheduling requests and staffing-related documentation. Prepare and post monthly nursing department schedules. Respond to employee questions regarding schedules, staffing, and shift coverage. Ensure all new hires receive their ID badge, timecard, and work schedule before orientation. Help resolve staffing challenges quickly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of employee certifications, licenses, and required documentation. Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times. Serve as backup to the Unit Secretary when needed. Prepare payroll for nursing department employees and agency staff. What We're Looking For Minimum of one year of Staffing Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing facility. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience preparing staffing schedules and nursing payroll. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare staffing regulations. Proficiency with scheduling and payroll systems is preferred. Why Join Our Team?
